What is this, really?
MegaMasti is a home for original, fictionalized and confession-style South Asian stories: office tension, rishtas that fall apart in the drawing room, hostel disasters, friendships, family pressure and everyday choices. Stories are entertainment, not verified reporting, and identifying details may be changed.
The ground rules
- No real names, numbers, or handles. Not yours, not anyone else's. Change the details that would make someone identifiable — we'll ask you to if you don't.
- No hate, no targeting. Stories that go after someone's religion, caste, gender, or background instead of just telling what happened get rejected, full stop.
- Write it like you'd tell it. We'd rather read something a little rough and completely real than something polished and generic. Say it the way you'd actually say it.
Privacy, in plain words
You can read without an account. Story submissions and comments enter an editorial moderation queue before publication. Do not include names, contact details, addresses, or other information that could identify someone.
